Goodbye 2020!

Posted on December 30, 2020 at 8:20 PM

Hello again!

I trust everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Well, 2020 is almost gone. It's been a wonderful year with many different things going on.

We've had ups and downs, and we've experienced a lot of firsts this year.  It's wonderful to know our Creator is sovereign and in control.  This year has not taken him by surprise.  Join me in bidding farewell to 2020!   Goodbye!... Farewell!... See ya!...Adios!

I encourage to look forward to the coming new year with great anticipation to see what great things he will do, and keep an eye out for opportunities to serve him, and share the gospel with this lost and dying world.

Also, I encourage you to continue to grow in your personal relationship with our Creator.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.   Philippians 3:13-14

Let's pray our Father would bless this coming year.

Christmas Pamphlet Text

Posted on December 21, 2020 at 7:45 PM

We all see nativity scenesaround Christmas time.  There's always a man (Joseph) and a woman (Mary).  We also sometimes see shepherds with their animals, wisemen, and even angels.  But, there's always a child.  This child represents Jesus.  What is so important about the birth of a child named Jesus?  I'll tell you why it is important to me.

I grew up in northeastern Indiana in a small town like this.  My mother was a single parent with three previous kids.  I had a lot of anger inside me that would come out often in the form of rage.  This created a lot of problems in my teen years,

Not having a father around, I was always looking for things to fill that hole.  Because of this I started to run with the wrong crowd.  I quit school at the age of 16 because I was almost caught with drugs on me in school.  I got involved in drugs at a young age, and by the time I was 17 years old I was selling cocaine.

I was never in trouble with the law because of drugs. But alcohol landed me in jail a couple of times.

Now you may be asking, what's this have to do with the birth of Jesus?

I'll tell you.  Jesus's birth is important because without the birth, there could be no death on the cross.

You see, Jesus was born to die for you and I.  Jesus left heaven and came to this earth, and was born of a virgin Mary.  He lived a perfect, sinless life.  While alive he did many miracles and  spoke of His Father in Heaven.  Then he died on the cross as a final sacrifice for sin.

When he died on the cross he took upon himself the sin of the world.

But, that's not all!  He was buried for 3 days and 3 nights.  That's not where he is today though. He arose from the dead to live forever in a glorified body!  He has victory over death and Hell!  The most important thing about this is now we can have everlasting life as well!!

The Scriptures say, That if though shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

In 2008 I surrendered my life to serve my great Creator, I put my trust and faith in Jesus as my Saviour. I now have a peace that passes all understanding.  My anger is nearly non-existent.  I no longer have a desire for drugs or alcohol.

HE HAS SET ME FREE!!  I HAVE VICTORY IN JESUS!!!

I encourage you to trust Jesus as your saviour today.  Then when people ask you why it's so important that Jesus was born, you can tell them!!

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas Everybody!!!

It's so exciting to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ!  We have such a good God, and He's blessed us with the greatest gift ever.

Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord!

People all around the world have varying opinions and views of what Christmas is. I though I would share a little pamphlet I wrote about what Christmas means to me.  I trust it will be a blessing to you.

Covid-19

Posted on August 5, 2020 at 6:00 PM

Hello again, since the last time I posted, a lot has happened.

I'm currently in the USA.

This last spring, Covid-19 became an issue for all of us.  I was living and teaching English in Thailand with the intent to learn the Thai language and culture, as well as tell people about Jesus.  Summer break for schools in Thailand is during the months of March and April.  It was during this time I determined it was best to return to the States for awhile.  I am still pursuing Thailand as a mission field.  Also, I am continuing my education while here.

The Lord has given me opportunities to work at Camp Berrymore in Bartlett, Ohio.  We had a great response during this difficult time with Covid-19. We had a few campers accept Jesus as their personal Savior, while others made decisions to follow Him in other areas of their lives.  It was a lot of fun.  God is still on the throne!!

I appreciate your continued prayers.

Thailand

Hello again,

I know it's been awhile.  I'm glad to be back.  A lot has happened since last time.

In May 2019 I visited Thailand for two weeks.  After discussing things with the Lord, I decided to return as an English Teacher.  This would be the quickest way to get on the foreign field.  This would also allow me to produce income.

My focus has been on learning CULTURE, and LANGUAGE. The culture is very different from the U.S. and the language is complex with tones and a lack of grammatical structure. (more on these later)

I currently live in Suphanburi, Thailand.  I've been teaching in a government school (public school), Kanchanapisek Wittayalai. It's ok if you don't pronounce it correctly.  The school has about 2,500 students of which I teach 30-40 per class.  Overall, it is a good school with good students.  (My students love me!)

I have been here about four months now.  There are many temples and tourist attractions here that are full of cultural information.  Therefore, I do a lot of traveling.  Usually, I stay close to home.  But, sometimes I go on longer trips.  I plan to share more with you from these trips in the near future.

I will be in touch again soon.

I appreciate your prayers.

Stop

Posted on February 27, 2019 at 8:30 PM

Well since the last time I posted on here things have changed. While raising support to go to Papua New Guinea and the Philippines the Lord told me to STOP. I didn't understand, but after a little struggle and his reminding me that He knows best, I stopped. I began to wait for my precious Father in Heaven to lead and guide as he see's fit.

Then, finally after months of waiting, He started to move again.

The Lord has been working in miraculous ways in my life. Recently, he has opened the door for me to go to Thailand in May. Your prayers are appreciated, still working on funds. But Praise God! I've already got the plane ticket! Again, your prayers are very much appreciated. I will be working with a church in Rayong Thailand. We will be working to get the gospel out to the Thai locals. I'm excited as I look forward to the Lord doing many more wonderful things!!  May the Lord receive the glory!!

Trip

Posted on March 9, 2018 at 3:55 PM

Hello, I'm excited about the current project I'm working on.

This June 2018 I am planning to go to "The Republic of the Philippines", and "Papua New Guinea".

Please keep me in your prayers! I am working with men in both fields regarding safety, and an efficient agenda.

I'm planning to visit churches, schools, and orphanages. Also, in PNG aviation ministries are very useful. Therefore, I plan to look into how useful they are, and where I might fit in that.

The cost will be $5,000.  Please join with me in prayer about this.

If you would like to take part in giving financially, please contact me.  (Go to Contact tab above.)

Thanks again!
